Hey all!

So, I just had this random idea pop in my head. I was thinking about doing a small giveaway here on my DA. Nothing really big. It has been a while since I have taken any art requests. So, I figured, why not take up some art requests? I guess maybe "giveaway" might not be the best title; but, eh, oh well. lol

Anyhow, I will be taking the first three requests on this journal. The deadline will be Oct. 31st or when the first three slots are filled. I will be coloring these sketches. The only requirement to qualify for this giveaway is that you are a watcher of mine. I want to give a little award to those who have been following my sporadic art page throughout the years. hahahaha

Please comment below with either a description of what you want drawn or a link to a reference. I will draw original characters and even fanart. ^_^ And as always, I do have the right to decline certain requests if I don't find it appropriate to draw. As for the turn around time for these drawings, I am not putting a set time limit on them because this is something I will be doing for fun. The time you see me posting your request could easily be anywhere from a couple weeks to over half a year (or longer depending on my current mood). XD So, just be aware of this when you submit a request.

Hey all! Happy 2017! I hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Years. My sister and I have decided to start our own cosplay page. We are still very new to cosplay. This would be our second year since we have delved into the wonderful world of cosplay. XD So, if anyone would be interested in following us, we have set up a cosplay page on facebook. Hey all!

So, I have been thinking for awhile moving accounts. I can't believe I have been a member of DA for nearly 8 years now. That's kind of hard to believe. XD There is not a definite date yet as to when I'll be closing this account; but, it will happen some time probably this year. Why? Well, the short version is that I want to start anew.

In light of this, I want to thank everyone who has watched me over the years. Thank you for all your support! ^_^ Whenever I decide to move accounts I hope you will continue to support me as I continue growing as an artist.

Hey all!

So this summer has been pretty chill. I haven't done much traveling besides going up to Chicago for Anime Midwest (which was amazing by the way). My sister and I didn't do much convention wise because half the time we were kind of lost. hahahaha Also, it was my first time wearing a wig for such long periods of time so I kind of retired early in the day. However, if we ever make it up there again, we'll definitely do more convention wise.

Anyhow, I've recently gotten my drive for drawing back which is awesome. I guess you can say for a while I was in an art slump. I didn't draw much at all. I did an occasional doddle but that was about it. So, hopefully, this coming up year, I'll be posting more frequently. Yay for art! XD

After going to Anime Midwest I became hooked onto cosplaying. LOL I never really thought of it as a hobby I would get into. But, here I am, ordering wigs and getting ready for whatever convention I'll be attending in 2016. >_< My sister and I have a line up of characters we want to cosplay. So, here is the list so far!

1) Lizzie and Ciel (sailor outfit edition): We both have watched Black Butler. I wouldn't say it is our favorite anime but the characters are so cute. <3 Also, I do like the whole premise of the show. So, yeah, Lizzie and Ciel are definitely going to be on our cosplay list.

2) Erza and Jellal (children): OMG. I can't even begin to describe how much I ship these two together. I normally don't have an "OTP" in a series but for these two (and also Snape and Lily) I will fangirl like no other. Their relationship is so cute and so sweet. Like argeoiajfsiogbiwuabiu! (that's basically me breaking down into gibberish because words are not enough)

3) Makoto and Haru: Okay, okay...I know there is a fairly large number of people who think that the entire fandom is a shipping war. And yes, that is true to some extent. I, though, don't personally ship any of the characters together as couples. I see the friendship between the characters as platonic, nothing more, nothing less. Can't they just be friends? (hides under covers with onslaught of rabid fangirls) I love Makoto as a character. He's sweet and so caring. In some ways, I see parts of him in myself. As for my sister cosplaying Haru (LOL), she told me she didn't want to buy anymore weird colored wigs so she picked Haru. hahahaha

4) Aladdin and Alibaba: I really enjoyed the first season of Magi. I haven't started the second season but I have been meaning to. I really enjoy the dynamics of this anime and the character interactions. You really start feeling for these characters. I may have cried once...or twice throughout this anime.

5) Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun: This show is hilarious. If you haven't watched it yet, go do it now. Like, seriously. This anime basically makes fun of all the shoujo tropes you can possibly encounter in a shoujo romantic comedy. I loved it from the get-go. I know my sister wants to cosplay as Sakura but I'm not too sure who I want cosplay as from this series. XD

That's the list for now. I'll probably be updating this list as the year goes on. But, it's exciting trying to put cosplays together. :3
